When we were young, we had locks on our diaries and did not
want anyone else in the world to read them.
Now we post them on the internet for all the world to see.
There is great advantage with the passing of years…and
decades. Perspective. Context.
History. The first time we face
great trials and challenges we wonder, “Will God show up? Will the Lord be faithful…to me?” But after He does so, and is faithful, again and
again, our trust grows along with our joy.
Our laughter has deepened with the tears. Our hope increases with our faith in what
John Piper calls “future grace.”
This blog is born out of my years and observations and God’s
enabling grace. I pray it may be of help
to you who read it.
